WOLFE CITY - Services for Clyde Scarborough, 70 of 2534 Anderson in Irving, will be at 2 p.m. today at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Rev. Robert Renfro officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mr. Scarborough died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in a Fort Worth hospital.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1907 in Fannin County to Gus and Vonia Gipson Scarborough. He was married to Ida Lee Birdwell in 1930 and she preceded him in death in 1968. Mr Scarborough was a member of the Scatter Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Scarborough of Irving: a daughter. Mrs. Anith Howard of Garden City, Kansas: three sisters.
Mrs. Dora Sharp of Marshall, Mrs. Lillian Barnes of Commerce and Mrs. Velma Fleming of Dallas: and six grandchildren.
