"Bill" Converse Rites Monday
Funeral Services for W D (Wintos Dickey) "Bill" Converse, 70, of Rt 9, Tyler are set for 10 am Monday at Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home chapel with the Rev Bennie Portwood officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens.
Mr. Converse died Friday in a Tyler Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a native of Durant Okla., and was a resident of Athens before moving to Tyler 15 Years ago.
He was a Winona First Baptist Church and was a retired ranch manager of Holley Tree Farm near Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Nell Converse, of Tyler, three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Gideon of Baytown, and Mrs. Kathryn Phillips of Nederland. one brother Dexter Converse Greenville and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Louis Beck, J L Gulley Jr, Cleon Fox, Don Howell, Mark Gideon, and Garry Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Phillips, Earnest Prince, John Craddock, and Raymond Hedge Sr.
The Family will be at 2214 Ridgewood Drive Tyler
