C. F. Cooper
Lone Oak, Texas, May 11 – (Special to The Banner) – George F. Cooper, aged 63, one of the most prominent citizens of this town, died at his home here at noon today, following a serious illness. Mr. Cooper was a native of Red River County, but has for some years been a committeeman of Lone Oak, which has been his home for more than a quarter of a century. He is survived by three sons, Sam S. Cooper, of Lubbock; Captain Claude Cooper of Lone Oak; and Bert Cooper of the United States Marine Corps. Burial will be tomorrow under the supervision of the Masonic Order of which he was a past master.
