C. W. Roach
Mr. C. W. Roach, aged seventy years and an old Confederate veteran died here at the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Anna Green, last Saturday morning, following a two week illness.
Deceased came to Texas from Mississippi and located at Kingston thirty-one years ago and was married there, his wife preceding him in death some two years.
He moved to Greenville only recently and was engaged in blacksmithing here.
Deceased was a member of the Baptist Church, a Mason, and lived up to his fraternal and church obligation and went the way of his fathers, trusting in Christ the Savior of men.
