Daisy Rigsby
Funeral services for Miss Daisy Rigsby, 30, who died at her home in Celeste at 6:00 AM on Friday, October 27, 1933, were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 28, 1933, at the Celeste Baptist Church. The body was carried to Garland for burial. She had been in ill health for a number of years.
Miss Rigsby had been a Celeste student for a number of years and was well-known in that community. She was a faithful Christian, having been a member of the Baptist Church since she was twelve years of age.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dink (sic) Rigsby; brothers and sisters, D. W. Rigsby, Cecil Rigsby, Ruth Rigsby, Jack Rigsby, Eugene Rigsby, all of Celeste; Mrs. Rosie Cole of Fort Worth, Mrs. Lilly Green and Joe Rigsby of Dallas. (October 29, 1933, The Greenville Morning Herald)
