Danny Ray “D Love” Lovelace, 50, of Greenville died July 17, 2006, at the Dallas V.A. Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Napoleon Undra Williams officiating. Burial will be at Grundy Memorial Park. Son of Curtis and Iva Jean Lovelace, he was born Jan. 15, 1956, in Greenville. Mr. Lovelace served in the U.S. Navy. He was a laborer and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Iva Jean Harris of Greenville; his stepmother, Ruby Lovelace of Greenville; two sons, Napoleon Undra Williams (Niki) and Dantora Gilbert, both of Greenville; two daughters, Chaka Johnson (Orsic) and Shamarro Lovelace of Greenville; five stepbrothers, Thomas Lee Harris of Dallas, Rev. Charles Jeffery, Tommy Jeffery, James Fluellen and LaRon Jeffery; a sister, Peggy Jean Kidd (Ellis) of Dallas; three aunts, Ludie Dillihunty, Molly Handy and Nadine Scott; special friend Zebra Gilbert; five grandchildren; and three nieces and two nephews. His father and one brother preceded him in death. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
