Mrs. Green DeFee
Mrs. Green DeFee, widow of the late Green DeFee,
for many years a prominent citizen of the White Rock community, died at
Texarkana Sunday, June 18, 1926, at the age of seventy years.
Deceased was a devout Christian woman and was a
pioneer of the White Rock and Kingston section where she was known and
loved and where most of her life was spent.
She broke up housekeeping following the death of
her husband.
She is survived by the following children:
Mrs. J. S. Pierce, Breckenridge; Mrs. G. H. Adams, Texarkana; Mrs. Sam
Hightower, Texarkana; Mrs. Jesse Farley; Austin; W. J. DeFee, J. G. DeFee,
and H. F. DeFee of Texarkana; and J. S. DeFee of Saint Louis. She
was also an aunt of Asa DeFee of Greenville.
The body was brought to Kingston for burial.
