Della Stewart Kemberling, 90, of Canton, formerly of Branson, Mo, died Saturday, April 27, 2007, in Canton. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel with Randy Rather officiating.
The daughter of Will and Lula Ann Stewart, she was born Jan. 5, 1917, in Whiteright. Della worked as a cook and serve as a caregiver to the elderly. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons and five brothers Chester, Buck, Albert, David and Dewy Stewart, and one sister Evelee Parsley.
She is survived by a sister Lela McClanahan of Canton; brother James Stewart of Austin; nieces Lula Florine Phillips of Kaufman, Donna Shutter of Van Lula Bell Garner of Comanche, Nola Ann Morgan of Justin, Judy Bradley and Jane Thick; nephews Mike Stewart of Norman, OK, Mike M. Stewart of Dallas, Andrew G. Stewart of Dallas and Lloyd Thomas Parsley of GA; and a multitude of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation is today from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
