D. L. Foster
D. L. Foster, 70, died suddenly at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. A. Stone at Celeste, early Saturday morning, August 1, 1931, from a heart attack, according to information received here. Mr. Foster was visiting his sister at the time of his death.
Mr. Foster was born on January 6, 1861, in Louisiana and moved to Texas with his parents when he was eight years of age. He moved to West Texas when he was sixteen years old and settled on a ranch where he has since resided. He was a splendid Christian gentleman, having united with the Church of Christ a number of years ago.
Mr. Foster is survived by his sister, Mrs. J. A. Stone of Celeste. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
Funeral services will be held at Celeste on August 2, 1931. Burial will follow in the Leonard Cemetery.
