D. M. Brougher
Cleburne, Texas, March 19, 1923--D. M. Brougher, 86, pioneer member of the Pat Cleburne Camp # 8, United Confederacy veteran, died today at the house of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Peyton, 607 South Walnut Street.
Funeral services at the residence will be at 5:00 this afternoon, conducted by Dr. R. B. Hooper of the Anglin Street Methodist Church. The body will be shipped to Celeste, Texas, tomorrow morning for burial in the family plot at that place. (May 20, 1923, The Dallas Morning News) Submitted by Sarah Swindell
