Funeral services for Donny Lee Dennie, 49, of Greenville were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, at East Mount Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Hickman officiating. Mr. Dennie died January 7, 2006 in Denton. He was born June 3, 1956, in Greenville to Henry Clifton and Annie Jewel Dennie. He is survived by a son, Joshua Lee Dennie of Wills Point; a daughter, Angela Dennie Jones of East Tawakoni; brothers, Alvin Dennie of Guner, Clifton Dennie of Emory, Joe Mack Dennie of Dallas and David Dennie; two sisters, Shirley Collins of Point and Ima Jean Dennie of Alba; and grandchildren, Kolby and Lilly Jones of East Tawakoni and Erin Dennie of Wills Point. He was preceded in death by his father in 1960 and his mother in 1994.
