Dorothea Harris Garcia
WOLFE CITY — Dorothea “Gene-O” Gene Garcia, 69, of Leonard died September 17, 2007, at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham following a lengthy illness. A graveside service is scheduled at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 20, 2007, at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City under the direction of R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, September 19, 2007, at the funeral home.
The daughter of Robert Lee Harris and Dollie Bishop Harris, she was born September 11, 1938, in Celeste. She was married to Rene Garcia.
Mrs. Garcia retired from Johnson Ladder. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are a daughter, Charlene Emling and husband Don Emling of Bailey; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and a sister, Dollie Marie Harris Daniel, preceded her in death.
