COMMERCE — Dorothy M. Harbour Irvin, 83, of Tyler, formerly of Commerce, died June 23, 2006, in Tyler. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home chapel with family members officiating. Burial follows at Rosemound Cemetery. Born April 1, 1923, in Cumby, she was the daughter of Bryan Cyrus McCauley and Essie Younts. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Red Hatters Club, a proud member of the Training School, class of 1940, Classroom Teachers Association and The Retired Teachers (state and local). She was a former member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Survivors are two children, W.H. “Scooter” Harbour Jr. and wife Judy of Tyler and Cathy Mounce and husband Butch of Gainesville; grandchildren Bryan Scott Harbour and wife Jennifer of Tyler and Keegan Mounce of Houston; four great-grandchildren; and her beloved dachshund, Penny.
She was preceded in death by husbands W.H. Harbour and Ardell Irvin. Her parents and a granddaughter, Kristi Harbour, also preceded her in death. Pallbearers are Steve Harbour, Larry Harliss, Jim Hardy, Doug Hardy, Jerry Richardson, Scott Harbour, Butch Mounce and Scooter Harbour.
