Ida Ferrell Duncan
Mrs. Ida Duncan passed away on Monday, April 5, 1954, at 2:45 PM after several months duration of illness at the home of her son, Carl Duncan of Grand Prairie. She made her home there for the past year.
Ida Ferrell Duncan was born on July 18, 1871, near Corinth, Mississippi and was married to Robert Duncan on January 28, 1890. Her husband preceded her in death in 1926. They had eight children
At the time of her death, she was a member of the Webb Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are eight children, C. L. Duncan of Homer, Louisiana; R. W. Duncan of Memphis, Tennessee; J. L. Duncan of Celeste; J. C. Duncan of Grand Prairie; and Mrs. Ruth Cartwright of Pocahontas, Tennessee; Mrs. Janie Bise of Meadville, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Buna Eubanks of Dallas; thirty-one grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Ferrell of Steele, Missouri and W. T. Ferrell of Gulfport, Mississippi; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial was in the State Line Cemetery near Pocahontas, Tennessee.
