Edna Earle Luna Roach
Celeste--Edna Earle Luna Roach, 81, of Celeste, died on Monday, June 10, 1985, in a Leonard nursing home.
Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 11, 1985, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Leamon Keel officiating. Burial will be in Celeste Cemetery.
Born on December 29, 1903, in Celeste, she was the daughter of Charles Luna and Lilly Green Luna. A former teacher, coach, and principal in the Celeste Independent School District, Mrs. Roach taught 38 1/2 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Celeste Church of Christ.
Surviving are a brother, Charles Luna of Dallas; an aunt, Bess Crumb of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Ernest Roach, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Swindell, Gaston Alexander, Bob Barnard, Bill Barnard, Calvin Stapleton, and Bud Roach.
