Elmer H. Shelton
Greenville Herald-Banner -- January 17, 1988 -- Funeral services for Elmer H. Shelton, 79, of Greenville, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He died Saturday morning at Citizens General Hospital.
Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery. Dr. Bob Hamilton will officiate.
Mr. Shelton was born to John E. and Fannie Miles Shelton on Aug. 12, 1908, in Jacksboro. A retired E-Systems employee, was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Shelton of Plano and John E. Shelton of Denver; a daughter, Mrs. Mary McNeely of Greenville; a sister Mrs. Nora Bell of Wichita Falls; 13 grand-children and 19 great-grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Peters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
