Elzie Lee Isham
Elzie Lee Isham, 94, of 3601 Cornelia died Sunday at 3500 Park. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Street Baptist Church under the direction of the Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 15, 1886 at Campbell, the son of John Clark and Jane Hackley Isham.
On Aug. 18, 1909 he was married to Nannie Hatchett at Cumby. He was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife of Greenville; a son, Jasper Isham of Dallas, Mrs. Rosie Adams of Greenville, and Mrs. Eula Thompson; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
