Ernest Hubert Roach
Celeste--Funeral services for Ernest Hubert Roach, 69, will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 27, 1968, in the Greenville Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Roach, a Celeste farmer and cattleman, died Friday evening, October 25, 1968, in a Dallas hospital.
The Rev. Harrison Baker will officiate at the services, and burial will be in the Celeste Cemetery.
Mr. Roach was born on February 24, 1899, in Hunt County, the son of James Franklin Roach and Alice McDonald Roach. He was married to the former Edna Luna on February 1, 1941.
Survivors include his widow of Celeste, four brothers, four sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Brothers are Garland Roach of Greenville, Louis Roach and Howard Roach of Celeste, and Jimmy Roach of San Antonio.
Sisters are Mrs. Florine Dodson of Electra, Miss Grace Roach and Mrs. Porter Johnson of Rankin, and Mrs. Estelle Rogers of Fort Worth.
Pallbearers are Chilton Evans, Rankin Roach, Byird Glasscoe, Spencer Sumrow, Jerry Swindell, Haskell Biggs, and Dr. Joe Garland Roach.
