Eula Thompson Entered Into Eternal Rest
Herald Banner, Greenville, TX -- February 4, 1990, Campbell -- Services for Eula Thompson, 79, of Campbell will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B. J. Bell officiating. Burial will be in Sullivan Cemetery.
She died Saturday in a local hospital.
Born May 27, 1910, in Hunt County, she was the daughter of Elzie Lee Isham and Nannie Ellen Hatchett. She married Ewell Howard Thompson on Nov. 22, 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of Campbell First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Campbell; mother, Nannie Isham of Greenville; five sons, Lee Thompson of Mesquite, Howard Thompson of Garland, Burnace Thompson of Caddo Mills, Herschel Thompson of Farmersville, and Mike Thompson of Campbell; four daughters, Bettie Couch of Quinlan, Barbara Massey of Greenville, Melba Lindsey of Campbell, and Doris Swearingin of Greenville; one brother, Jasper Isham of Dallas; one sister, Rosie Adams of Greenville; 21 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and four grandchildren.
