Frances Alene Hill, 82, of Greenville died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Campbell with Rev. Robert Baldridge officiating. Burial is in Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 25, 1924, in Honey Grove; she was the daughter of Barney Lee and Thelma Baldridge Durham. She and Orville Hill were married Dec. 7, 1947, in Sherman.
Mrs. Hill was a homemaker. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and worked in church and school activities in the community. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Campbell.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Joan Hill of Colleyville; daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Larry Mayo of Greenville and Judy and Jack Philips of Highland Village; a sister, Wanda Isaacs of Greenville, and grandchildren David Mayo of Campbell, Jamie and Jason Barborak of Greenville, Natalie and Anthony Doyle of Fort Worth, Jessica Philips of Lubbock, Allison Hill of Denton, Jason Philips of College Station, and great-grandchild Trinity Doyle of Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Bobby Joe Hill; her parents; a brother, Bill Durham, and a sister, Thelma Currin. Pallbearers are Gary Crow, Doyle Currin, Sarge Erwin, Don Ethridge, Billy Julian and Virgil McDaniel.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
