Grand Saline--Services for Frances Hamilton Weisz, 83, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at First United Methodist Church of Canton with the Rev. Nathan Hodge and Ken Terry officiating.
Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery, Van Zandt County, under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Mrs. Weisz died on Saturday, May 5, 2007, in Tyler.
She was born on March 29, 1924, in Lane, to the late Ernest Hamilton and Ruby Geneva Tadlock Hamilton. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church of Canton.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, Melvin Weisz of Grand Saline; daughters, Karen Franks of Grand Saline, and Suzi Price of Hinesburg, Vermont; sisters, Nancy Gibbons of Canton and Juanette Turman of Greenville; brothers, Thomas D. Hamilton of Eustace, Don Max Hamilton of Nevada, and Larry Hamilton of Canton; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Greg Stanberry, Spencer Chambless, Hunter Price, Ian Williams, Patrick Stanberry, Chase Stanberry, Adam Chambless, and Daniel Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Chambless, Alex Chambless, and Ike Williams.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 7, 2007, at the funeral home.
