Frank Hopewell
Frank Hopewell, aged 73 years, a pioneer of that section in between White Rock and Kingston, died last Friday afternoon.
Frank Hopewell, a native of Nebraska, had lived in the home where he died since his youth and had made a splendid citizen through the years.
For some years, he lived alone, the life of a bachelor, and often invited his friends to enjoy the product of his culinary arts and this writer came to be a close friend of this good citizen after our arrival in Hunt County.
Frank Hopewell was honorable in his dealings, a faithful friend, and sought to make the world a better place in which to live.
Many years ago, he was married to the daughter of Mrs. R. E. Webster, of this city, who with six children, survive him. The children are: Corley Hopewell, Wade Hopewell, Robert Hopewell, Preston Hopewell, and Misses Kathleen Hopewell and Irene Hopewell.
One daughter, Mrs. Ardell Patterson preceded him in death.
