Freddie David Turk
Greenville Herald-Banner -- January 23, 2001 -- Freddie David Turk of Dallas died Jan. 13 in Pine Hill Terrace Nursing Home in Jefferson. Funeral services were Jan. 16 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with Rev. Jim Slocumb officiating. Burial was in Sullivan Cemetery.
The son of Aubrey Tarleton Turk and Edna Jarrett Turk, he was born May 12, 1943 in Dallas. On Sept. 29, 1967 he married Bobbie Miller in Dallas, Mr. Turk was an office manager for Refrigeration System.
Surviving are his wife of Dallas; sons Robert Hodge of Seagoville, David Turk of Colorado and Aubrey Turk of Dallas; two daughters, Deborah Hodge of Haltom City and Sheila Turk of Dallas; a brother Kennan Turk of Plainview and grandchildren Joseph Perez, Alex Perez, Sarah Hodge, Robert D. Hodge, Catherine McClard, Aleah Turk and Christopher Shan Hodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jack Turk and one grandson, Nicolas Perez.
