Fred Milton
The body of Fred Milton, 22, of the Dulaney community, west of Celeste, was picked up on the Katy track near Leonard last Thursday morning.
Milton's car was a little distance away, having crashed into a pole and the presumption appears to be that the young man, possibly unconscious, wandered on the railway track where his body was crushed and mangled in serious fashion.
Milton appears to have been alone and is supposed to have been returning from the Leonard Picnic when his car crashed into a telephone pole, wrecked the car, and injuring him.
Being no witness to the unfortunate accident, of course, the piecing of the facts and circumstances together for forming conclusions, was all that family and friends could gather with the mangled corpse of this young man.
Fred Milton is survived by parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Milton of the Dulaney community; three sisters and one brother as follows: Mrs. Alma Davenport of Greenville, Mrs. D. B. Lewis of Galveston, Mrs. Tressie Hayes of Lane, and Frank Milton of Farmersville.
