F. W. "Bud" Hanson
Celeste--Services for F. W. (Bud) Hanson, 79, of Celeste, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 26, 1976, at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Leamon Keele officiating. Burial will be in the Celeste Cemetery.
Mr. Hanson died on Thursday, December 23, 1976, in a local hospital after a short illness.
He was born on October 7, 1898, in Celeste, the son of John B. Hanson and Florence Akins Hanson. On June 6, 1918, he was married to Fay M. Mulkey in Greenville.
He was a member of the Celeste Church of Christ and survivors include his wife; one son, Jack R. Hanson of Dallas; one daughter, Katherine Duncan of Causey, New Mexico; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Tidwell, Herman Compton, Solon Milton, Jimmy Don Mulkey, Gene Rainwater, and Jack Rainwater.
