LONE OAK — Funeral services for Gay Neita Payne, 67, of Lone Oak are at 10:30 a.m. today in Lone Oak Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Cook and Rev. Danny Calk officiating. Burial is in Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne died Jan. 3. 2007, at her home.
She was born April 6, 1939, in Lone Oak to Venton and Irene Burns Dodd. She married Guy W. Payne on July 22, 1967. She was a school teacher in Lone Oak for many years and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Guy Wayne Payne; two daughters, Lyneita and Trent Leopold of DeSoto and Amy and Kevin Houser of Lone Oak; three grandchildren, Ryan and Nick Marney and Chelsea Houser.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Wayne Gideon, Otis Payne, David Hanson, Greg Payne, John Smith and Jerry McGee.
Donations may be made to Lone Oak School or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
