Gene Turner
Gene Turner, 49, of Greenville died the morning of February 28, 2007, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Celeste Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Randy Rather will officiate.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2007, at the funeral home.
Arthur Nolder, George Nolder, Don Majewsk, H. Ray Turner and A.K. Turner will be pallbearers.
Born October 28, 1957, in Greenville, he was the son of Ted K. Turner and Ruth Azelle Butler Turner. Mr. Turner was an auto mechanic.
Surviving are a sister, Pauletta Hamilton of Greenville; a son, Stephen E. Turner, Jr., of Battiest, Oklahoma.; two daughters, Vanessa Turner and Stephanie Turner; two brothers, H. Ray Turner of Carrollton and A. K.Turner of Cash; and special brother Arthur Nolder
of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his father in August of 1980; his mother in November of 1971; a brother, Sam Turner in May 2006; and his grandparents.
