COMMERCE — Geneva “Granny” Click, 81, of Commerce and former resident of Delta County passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2006 at the Green Crest Manor Nursing Home in Greenville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the East Delta Baptist Church with Cooper Thacker officiating. Interment will follow in the East Delta Cemetery under the direction of the Delta Funeral Home.
Mrs. Click was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Delta County. She was the daughter of Jim Ed Sneed and Willie Frances Sneed. She was the owner of a cafe for several years, a resident of Delta County most of her life, a member of the East Delta Baptist Church and honorary member of the Commerce Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary Clubs. She married Norris Gaylon Click on July 28, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1999. She is surived by son, Donald Rickey Click of Princeton; daughter, Kay Bullard of Commerce; brother, Lloyd Ray Sneed of Grand Prairie; sisters Rowena Wright of Fort Worth and Floy Elmore of Sulphur Bluff; eight grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two children, Harold Wendell Click and Barbara Ann Click.
