Glenn M. (Sparkey) Sparks
Glenn M. (Sparkey) Sparks, 82, of Dallas, formerly of Celeste, died on June 5, 1990. Burial was in Whitewright Cemetery.
Mr. Sparks was born on March 21, 1908, in Hooker, Oklahoma, to Ollie Ann Gill and Moman Remus Sparks. In 1931, he was married to Billie Miller. After finishing high school in Celeste, Mr. Sparks moved to Dallas in 1928, where he was employed at the US Post Office. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Sparks, Jr., and Annette Sparks of Dallas and three sisters, Jo Casey Lee of Garland, Annie Mae Newman of Fort Worth, and Katherine Singleton of Little Elm.
