COMMERCE — Guy Llewellyn Hamm Sr., 93, of Commerce died Sept. 16, 2006, at Greenville Health and Rehab. A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness Church in Greenville. Born April 20, 1913, in Okarche, Okla., he was the son of Jesse Franklin and Maggie Dial Hamm. Mr. Hamm was a retired iron worker. Survivors are four sons, Chris Melvin Hamm and wife Charlotte, Guy L. Hamm Jr. and wife Joyce, Stanley E. Hamm and James O. Hamm and wife Mary; grandchildren Debbie Gilbreath, Preston Hamm, Timothy Hamm, Jimmy Lee Hamm, Charlie Hamm, Jessica Hamm, Daniel Hamm, Eric Hamm and Lauren Hamm; and several great-grandchildren. His wife, Jessie Hamm; two brothers and his parents preceded him in death. Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
