Harold Biggs Holloway
Harold Biggs Holloway, 67, of Celeste, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 1981, at a Greenville hospital.
Funeral service was held on Friday, November 6, 1981, at Sorrells-Peters Chapel with Mr. Murphy Phillips officiating. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Hunt County, Mr. Holloway was born on July 6, 1914, in Greenville, the son of Talford G. Holloway and Sally Biggs Holloway. He was married to June Welker on September 8, 1940, in Hugo, Oklahoma. He was a retired owner of a Greenville restaurant and a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, of Celeste; son, Hal Holloway of Caddo Mills; daughter, Elayne Dryden; brothers, Arnold Holloway of Garland and Howard Holloway of Corpus Christi, and cousin, Robert Holloway of Celeste.
Pallbearers were Gilbert Voss, Vernon Green, Ralph Barnes, Charles Trotter, Charlie Childress, and Bowley Ewing. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Prather, Billy Hooten, Larry Black, and Rick Lynch.
