Helen Louise Russell, 90, of Royse City, formerly of Foxboro, Mass., Cheyenne, Wyo., and McComb, Miss., died Nov. 16, 2006, at her daughter’s home. A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. today at Josephine Community Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville. A memorial service is scheduled at noon today at Living Word Church in Greenville with Rev. Scott McManus officiating.
Mrs. Russell was born in Newton, Mass., on March 10, 1916, to William G. and Ethel L. Cross. She married Irwine Scott Russell on Oct. 15, 1949, in Belmont, Mass.
She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Living Word Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce G. and Margaret Russell of McComb, Miss.; daughters and sons-in-law Nadine and Matt Vea of Royse City and Arlene and Raymond White of Josephine; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irwine Russell on April 9, 1970; her mother on Jan. 22, 1977; and her father in 1960.
The family requests no flowers be sent. Memorial donations may be made to Tupelo Children’s Mansion in Tupelo, Miss.
