George W. Hunter
Last rites for George W. Hunter, retired farmer of the Celeste community, were held at the Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon, December 5, 1953. He passed away on the preceding Wednesday, December 2, 1953, after an illness of three weeks.
Officiating at the last rites were the Rev. J. L. Land and the Rev. V. H. Arnold. Interment was made in Mount Carmel Cemetery east of Celeste.
Pallbearers were George McGee, Tom Sparks, Jack Ruff, R. J. Ramsey, Houston Furr, and Robert Wilburn.
