OBITUARY: Mrs. Ida S. Nalls died at Wieland, Rites Tomorrow. Climaxing an illness of several months' duration, death came Thursday morning at 11:15 o'clock to Mrs. Ida Salena Nalls, 71, lifelong resident of the Wieland community, southeast of Greenville. Mrs. Nalls passed away at the home of her son T.H. Nalls in Wieland. Final rites will be observed at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Services will be held at the Wieland Church of Christ with G.W. Weatherford officiating. Interment will be in the Wieland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Julius Clark, Lois Wade, Raymond Graves, Grover Shelton, Claud McKinney and J.B. Thomason.

OBITUARY: Native of Wieland, Born on February 5, 1868 in the Wieland Community, Mrs. Nalls had resided in that section all of her life. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Hart, pioneers of Hunt county, who settled at Wieland years ago. Mrs. Nalls was one of the most beloved women in the Wieland community and was well-known by all of its citizens. An unselfish woman whose life had been one of service, in behalf of her loved ones and friends, she leaves many to mourn her passing. She had long been active in community affairs and worked zealously for all projects that had community betterment as their goals. Joined Chrch Early: When she was a girl, Mrs. Nalls embraced the teachings of Christianity and united with the Church of Christ. Throughout the years, she remained a loyal Christian and as long as her health permitted was active in working for the success of the programs sponsored by the Church of Chirst at Wieland, where her membership rested. She was a devoted mother, true friend, and pleasant neighbor, and her death causes her community to suffer a great loss. Mrs. Nalls is survived by five children: W.L. Nalls of Wieland, C.B. Nalls of Greenville, T.H. Nalls of Wieland; L.B. Nalls who resides near Commerce, and Mrs. Egbert Thompson of Greenville. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.; a brother W.O. Hart and a sister Mrs. A. Gilliam of Mineral Heights. Her husband preceded her in death thiry-three years ago and three children also preceded her in death.
