Carrie Ivey Carrie Ivey, 80, died at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas, on December 24, 1968, after being a patient for five days. She was a resident of Celeste, Hunt County, Texas, and lived within the city limits. She never married. She was born to James L. Ivey and Lucy Jane Wright on November 11, 1888, in Collin County. Mrs. Mord C. Lyday, sister, was informant. Cause of death: could not read the first word, but cancer of the esophagus was also listed. Body was removed for burial in Celeste Cemetery on December 26, 1968 by Wilson Funeral Home. (84162)
