Jacky Glenn Townsend, 63, of Rockwall, died the morning of Sept. 25, 2006, at Park Manor Nursing Home in DeSoto. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel in Greenville with Rev. Gary Morgan officiating. Burial is at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville. The son of William A. and Edith Pauline Caplinger Townsend, he was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Greenville. Mr. Townsend was a car salesman. Surviving are daughters Gina Kizer of Dallas, Debi Adams of Rockwall, Cristy Koonce of Sanger and Tina Condit of San Antonio; two sisters, Dollene King of Lancaster and Dosky Allard of Seagoville; a brother, Doug Bolding of Commerce; grandchildren Garret Koonce and Greer Koonce of Sanger and Taylor Condit and Christopher Condit of San Antonio; several aunts and uncles including Kenneth Caplinger of Celeste; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Edith Pauline Caplinger Bolding; and stepfather Douglas Bolding. Pallbearers are Jeffrey Turner, Jack Sprinkle, Gary Dean Caplinger and Billy Edwards. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
