James Henry Grider, 71, of Campbell died Oct. 14, 2006, in Dallas. Mr. Grider was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Yuba, Okla., son of Frank and Bonnie Grider. During his life he was a devoted Baptist minister and worked as an auto mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Grider of Campbell; daughters Debbie Byrd of Campbell, Cathy Smithey of Greenville and Debra Wade and Linda Payne of Lone Oak; a son, Dwight Grider of Lone Oak; brother Frank Grider of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters Hazel Branch of Yuba, Okla., Bobbie Hutchins of Calera, Okla., and Ruby Hensley of Bennington, Okla. 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Lilly Faye Grider, Alline Grider, Pauline Odessa Joe and Jessie Grider; and a brother, Earl Grider. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville. Internment is in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
