James “Jim” Milton Hill

James “Jim” Milton Hill of Floyd died 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 in a local care facility. He was born March 10, 1938, to Clifton Harrison Hill and Firn Harrell Hill in Seymore. He was baptized into Christ at Austin Street Church of Christ in Garland in 1953 and at the time of his death he was a longstanding member of Johnson Street Church of Christ in Greenville. He was preceded in death by both parents and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elora Purdy Hill of Floyd; one son, James Hill Jr., also of Floyd; and grandchildren, Tamatra and Jonathan Hill.
There are no public services planned.
