WOLFE CITY — Jane Haywood Kendrick, 77, of Commerce died May 2, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
The daughter of Grady Dwight and Delma Lynn Stidham Haywood, she was born May 18, 1929, in Wolfe City. On Aug, 18, 1951, she was married to George Kendrick in Commerce; she and her husband celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18, 2006.
Mrs. Kendrick was a homemaker. She was active in the Kalir Club and was a Baptist.
Survivors are her husband of Commerce; two sons, Keith and wife Maureen Kendrick of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Kenneth Kendrick of Durango, Colo.; one daughter, Karen and husband Hank Holly of Crystal Lake, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Kyle Kendrick, Kevin Kendrick, Kelly Kendrick, Kristopher Kendrick, Benjamin Holly, Meghan Holly and Allison Holly; and a brother-in-law, Dr. Allen Price.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Haywood Price; a brother, Dr. Ray Haywood; and her parents.
