CADDO MILLS — Jessie Geraldine Lampley Ramsey, born Nov. 19, 1933, to Barnie Brown Lampley and Minnie Bell Baxter Lampley, went to be with her Lord on May 16, 2006. Geraldine had six children, Edward Murphy of Point, Shane Murphy of Quinlan, Janie Bell Staub of Paragould, Ark., Regina Lee Sanders of Greenville, Denise Murphy of Caddo Mills and Euritha Ann, who preceded her in death. Geraldine also had six stepchildren, Richard Murphy of Walnut Ridge, Gary Allen Murphy, Minnie Sue Murphy of Paragould, Ark., and Unice Nadine of St. Louis, Mo., and Roy Gean Murphy and Kenneth Edward Murphy who preceded her in death. She is also survived by three brothers, Willie Ray Lampley of Tulsa, Okla., Thomas Jefferson Lampley and Carol Lynn Lampley of Hune, Ark.; one sister, Rosalee Hatfield of Michigana City, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Wynn. A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Word Church and Ministries, 3068 County Road 2172, in Greenville. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Claudine Rust and Rev. Rudy Thrasher officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills. Rentfrow Funeral Home of Caddo Mills is in charge of arrangements.
