Jewel Lee Stotts, 75, of Greenville, formerly of Lone Oak and Cooper, died Sept. 19, 2006, in a nursing facility in Greenville. Mrs. Stotts was born Oct. 13, 1930, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Mignon Miram Morgan. She worked as a seamstress most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her two sons, Alvin Lawson of Cooper and Danny Daniels of Bogata; daughters Mitzi Joslin of Sulphur Springs, Brenda Garcia of Lone Oak and Sophia Wallace of Lone Oak; grandchildren Mandy Lawson, Jason Daniels, Shonda Joslin, Melissa Moore, Jordan Suits and Gary Dale Wallace; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Stotts in 1993; two brothers, Tony Morgan and Don Morgan; and two sisters, Ruth Lyle and Louise Boyd. A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Lynch Funeral Service chapel with Mike Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery in Lone Oak. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
