Jewel Hunnicutt Roach
Mrs. Jewel Roach, 78, of Pittsburg, born on August 22, 1905, in Marietta, died at 9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 10, 1984, at Pittsburg Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
She had lived in this area from time to time throughout her lifetime. She was a former school teacher and housewife, and member of the Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by one step-son, George C. Roach of Denton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Patsy Hicks of Huffman; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerald Hunnicutt of Texarkana; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Whatley of Pittsburg and Mrs. Fern Stringer of Bryans Mills.
