Joe Dan Bickham
Funeral services for Joe Dan Bickham, age 53, of Douglassville, formerly of Celeste, were held on April 21, 2000, at the Douglassville Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Mayton officiating. Interment followed in the Douglassville Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. He passed away on April 19, 2000.
Bickham was born on November 23, 1946, in Atlanta, Texas, the son of Joe David Bickham and Jessie H. Bickham. He served in the US Air Force and was retired from the Red River Army Depot. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Swint Bickham.
Survivors include his parents, Joe David Bickham and Jessie H. Bickham of Atlanta, Texas; sons, Jeff Bickham and Jake Bickham, both of College Station; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol Bruce and Jimmy Bruce of Farmersville, Louisiana, and Linda Smith and Steven Smith of Atlanta; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
