Kirk T. Pearce
Funeral services for Mr. Kirk T. Pearce, 88, of Greenville, will be at 3:30 PM, June 23, 1990, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mr. Pearce died Friday at Citizens General Hospital.
He was born on March 7, 1902, in Wolfe City to James B. Pearce and Mollie Kirksey Pearce. He was married to Edna Nichols of the Pike - Lane area on October 22, 1929, in Durant, Oklahoma.
Mr. Pearce was a retired owner of Kirk Pearce Service Stations and was a member of Westview United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife: two daughters, Mrs. Bettye Parrott of Greenville and Mrs. Annah Beth Hardin of Mesquite; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Evans of Fort Worth, Mrs. Lester Jorden of Oceanside, California, and Mrs. Grady Steen of Mason; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hess, Billy Hilton, Dennis Moser, Jack Mason, Marvin Stewart, and J. B. McNatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Crofford, Olen Gilmore, David Arp, Herman Biffle, Bill Harvey, and James Money.
