Funeral services for Lela L. Glass, 93, of Mesquite were held Saturday, October 15, at Coker-Mathews FUneral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Ball officiating. Burial was at Wieland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Norman Hallmark, Jerry Stevens, Robby Stevens, Tim McDaniel, Drew McDaniel, and Alton Rodgers. Mrs. Glass died Oct. 12, 2005, at Greencrest Manor. She was born September 9, 1912, in Hunt County, to George W. Lynch and Scena Orear. In 1934 she married Elbert L. Glass. She was a homemaker, and a Baptist. She is survived by a brother, Clyde Lynch of Idabel, Okla.; two sisters, Lucy Stevens and Bonnie Samples of Point; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and two brothers. Coker Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
