Lillie Mae Fite, 64, of Greenville, formerly of Pittsburg, Texas, died the evening of Feb. 22, 2007, at her residence. Graveside services, which will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Pittsburg, are pending. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born April 15, 1942, in Avinger, she was the daughter of Walter and Annie Bell Murphy Penny. She was married to Charles “C.W.” Wayne Fite on Dec. 23, 1974, in Quitman. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are two sons, Jack Hobbs and Larry Hobbs; four daughters, Cheryl Summers, Becky Fouse, Joyce Hyatt, and Mary Jo Hodges; brothers Marvin Penny, Vernon Penny and Billy Penny; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband and a sister, Ruby Alexander, preceded her in death.
