Lois Annelle Lacy Wright
Leonard--Mrs. Lois Annelle Lacy Wright, 45, died at 11:20 PM, Friday, December 17, 1971, at her home of a sudden heart attack.
Services will be held at the First Baptist Church at 2:30 PM, Sunday, December 19, 1971, with the Rev. Morris Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be E. T. Fowler, Denzle Cummings, John Gilbert, Curtis Brawley, Laude Howard, and Sonny Watkins.
Mrs. Wright was born on September 3, 1926, in Leonard, the daughter of the late John Elmer Lacy and Ada Beatrice Roach Lacy.
She was married on March 18, 1945, to Billy Ray Wright who preceded her in death in 1954.
Mrs. Wright was secretary for an insurance firm in Dallas and also worked part-time at a Leonard nursing home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gordon Wright of Allen; a daughter, Mrs. Allie Martin of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ferguson of El Paso and Mrs. Mildred Sikes (Lacy) and Mrs. Bessie Tilger, both of Mesquite.
