Lucille Thompson was born Jan 2, 1915, to the parentage of Gentle and LeLear Vaughn in Hopkins County. She accepted Christ at an early age. Making Greenville her home she joined membership with Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church. She also participated in fellowship with other churches. She was united in marriage to Lonnie Thompson.
At the blessed age of 93, she died Jan. 1, 2007.
Left to cherish her memories are nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Her husband, parents, four sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church with Rev. Harold Wright officiatiing. Burial is in Grundy Memorial Park.
Grace & Mercy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
