WOLFE CITY — Lynn D. Smith, 80, of Wolfe City died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Brother Roy Dittmore officiating. Burial is in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born May 15, 1926, in Link, Ark.; the son of Tommy Lynn and Violet Pulliam Smith. He married Evelyn Marie McNeil on June 7, 2002, in Wolfe City. Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a member of Durham Baptist Church in Wolfe City. Surviving are his wife of Wolfe City; sons, Craig Smith of Las Vegas, Nev., Gregg Smith of Wolfe City and Ricky Smith of Bentonville, Ark.; two daughters, Genie Walters of Houston and Pamela Smith Bunch of Loganville, Nev.; one step-daughter, Vonda Graham of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006, at the funeral home.
