Mary Nell McMichael Anderson
Mary Nell McMichael Anderson of Greenwood, Arkansas, died on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in a Fort Smith Hospital. She was born on November 1, 1927, to Gertie Ewing McMichael and William Word McMichael in Celeste, Texas. She was a 1945 CHS graduate. On January 25, 1952, she was married to Dean Anderson in Dallas, Texas.
The funeral was held on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Greenwood, Arkansas, where she was a member. Burial was in US National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Surviving are her husband, Dean; a daughter, Deborah Hernandez, of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Betty Baker of Duncanville, Texas and Francis Armstrong of Celeste; a brother, James McMichael of Spring, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
